Penne Slagle founded PSD in 2000   -   A native of Waco, Texas, with her degree in architectural design in 1984 followed by a 10 year career in commercial real estate, she realized a passion for design in commercial and residential spaces   -   She has two daughters and a husband who constantly push her to keep pursuing this passion   -   She is annoying about the details and has an editor's eye   -   which awarded her design four arc awards from D magazine including best architectural design, best living/entertainment, best kitchen design and best curb appeal   -   She has a crazy sense of humor and anytime outside, especially at the beach, is her paradise   -   But even on vacation, she'll edit and re-design the room before unpacking her bags   -   Most of all her faith in God helps her not take this life so seriously
